PT. Seng Fong Moulding Perkasa
PT. Seng Fong Moulding Perkasa (SFMP) is a national private company situated in Jombang, East Java, Indonesia. SFMP is in the business of wood processing industry which started to operate in 1990. This business started in 1970 from trading company Seng Fong Wood Poducts Pte Ltd, based in Singapore and now has expanded with establishment of PT. SFMP in Jombang, they become not just a trader but also a manufacturer.
PT SFMP industrial complex established in area of ± 9,2 ha with total facilities of 48.000 m2. Area consist of office, sawmill unit, kiln dryer, log yard with capacity of 10,000 m3, flooring unit, coating unit, storey plant and other supported facilities for workers. In 2008, PT. SFMP hired total of 1312 workers, with additional of 2257 casual labour employed on short term contracts in peak season. Most workers are from local community.
Its currents products using varied species of woods, such as merbau, kempas, bangkirai, meranti, teak, sonokeling, pilang and kruing. The main products are moulding and housing component such as, Flooring, Fingerjoint, Fingerjoint Laminate, Parquet & Lamparquet, Decking, and Skirting. With machines capacity reached 50.000 m3 per year, now PT. SFMP has been one of the biggest flooring manufacturer in East Java. Total export volumes SFMP has reached 23,503 m3 or average 1,958 m3/month and supply 32 export destination all around the world.
